Location: Martensville
Be a key support in the Reach Ahead Program as a Virtual Educator, assisting Grade 8 students in earning a high school credit. Employ innovative online teaching methods for impactful learning experiences.
The Superior-Greenstone District School Board is excited to hire two Virtual Educators for the Reach Ahead Program from March to June 2027. In this role, you will commit 6 hours weekly, delivering lessons in healthy living practices and small-group activities while fostering student engagement and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach engaging remote lessons using diverse instructional methods
• Guide students in understanding course materials effectively
• Encourage teamwork among learners for a collaborative environment
• Promote healthy living and balanced lifestyle strategies
• Support student inclusiveness and well-being
Requirements:
• Holds an Ontario Teaching Certification (OCT)
• Teaching experience in health or physical education preferred
• Excellent communication and online teaching skills
