The School for the Arts/Art & Art History is seeking experienced educators to teach various art courses. Applicants should hold a Master of Fine Arts degree and possess teaching experience. Courses include Foundation in Painting, Printmaking, Drawing, and Canadian Art history, all delivered in-person in Saskatoon. Engage with students in dynamic classroom settings, fostering their artistic journey.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Foundation in Painting, Printmaking, and Drawing courses
• Deliver engaging lectures and practical demonstrations
• Prepare course materials and assessments
• Support students in developing their artistic skills
• Collaborate with faculty to enhance the curriculum
Requirements:
• Master of Fine Arts degree or equivalent required
• Proven teaching experience in art education
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage students and inspire creativity
• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion
Contribute to the artistic development of students while fostering diversity at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon.
