Mental Health Community Instructor Position

SIIT is recruiting an inspiring instructor for its Addictions, Community, and Mental Health Professional program. You will organize and implement educational strategies to meet diverse student needs. Your ability to blend contemporary educational methodologies with Indigenous worldviews will create an enriching environment for learning and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop detailed lesson plans for classes
• Integrate technology into instructional practices
• Maintain records of student attendance and progress
• Cultivate an inclusive learning atmosphere
• Suggest updates to curriculum and evaluation criteria
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, or a similar discipline
• Previous teaching experience is advantageous
• Familiarity with First Nations cultures
• Knowledge of adult learning principles preferred
• Passion for supporting student learning
