Early Childhood Educator at BGCS

Location: Martensville

Become a vital part of BGCS’s mission as a Casual Early Childhood Educator, where you ensure children have a safe and enriching learning experience. This part-time position involves comprehensive engagement with kids in an educational setting.

As a Casual ECE at BGCS, you will work at John Lake School and Evergreen Joint Use School, partnering with seasoned educators to deliver inclusive and quality programs. You will positively influence children's behavior, create a nurturing atmosphere, and actively engage them in skill-building activities while maintaining safety and adherence to regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and supervise daily routines effectively

• Ensure compliance with all safety and quality regulations

• Utilize positive guidance in managing children’s behavior

• Plan engaging activities that appeal to children’s interests

• Conduct cleanup and facility maintenance to uphold safety

Requirements:

• Experience with children in educational contexts

• Complete Criminal Record & Vulnerable Sector Checks

• Obtain Play & Exploration Training within first months

• First Aid/CPR certification preferred

• Committed to respecting diversity and inclusion in education
