Qualifications

• Certification:
  Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certified or equivalent.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience (preferred).
• Experience working in a school library setting.
• Experience leading and coordinating volunteers.
• Education:
  
  Teacher Librarian Additional Qualification (AQ) Part 1 (preferred)
• Curriculum Knowledge:
  Understanding of and experience with the K–8 curriculum, along with experience implementing a biblical worldview into curriculum.

• Teaching library classes, collaborating with and supporting teachers,
• Leading and training volunteers,
• Teaching enrichment classes (reading and writing),
• Maintaining all library resources.

Candidates must demonstrate a desire for their faith in Jesus to guide their interactions with students and staff as they support the vision and mission of the school.
