Practical Nursing Program Instructor

Become an integral part of the Saskatchewan Polytechnic's Practical Nursing program as a full-time Instructor in Saskatoon. Deliver theoretical and clinical guidance to adult learners and support their journey in healthcare.

This full-time leave replacement role runs from Fall 2026 to November 2027. You will provide hands-on instruction in nursing skills and assist with labs, ensuring students receive the best education in long-term and acute care environments. Your communication and problem-solving skills will be vital in fostering student success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide practical and theoretical instruction in nursing

• Support students in long-term and acute care settings

• Plan and deliver nursing skills courses effectively

• Assist with laboratory instruction and setup

• Attend meetings and fulfill assigned duties

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with a Nursing Degree

• Active registration with CRNS

• Current TLR Trainer Certificate

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Two years of recent acute care experience preferred
