Become a key educator in the Practical Nursing Program at Saskatchewan Polytechnic in Saskatoon. This full-time instructor role focuses on both theoretical and clinical instruction to adult students.
The Gabriel Dumont Institute is seeking two full-time instructors for a term from Fall 2026 to November 2027. As a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor’s degree, your expertise will guide students in long-term and acute care practices. Candidates should have recent acute care experience and a TLR Trainer Certificate, along with stellar communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide practical nursing theory and clinical skills instruction
• Support adult learners in acute care settings
• Assist in planning and delivering nursing skills courses
• Conduct lab instruction and supervision
• Attend scheduled faculty meetings and fulfill assigned duties
Requirements:
• Degree in Nursing and active CRNS registration
• Current TLR Trainer Certificate
• Two years of recent acute care experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
