Become part of the LIGHT OF CHRIST CATHOLIC SCHOOL DIVISION NO. 16 as a Library Assistant focused on the French Immersion Program at École Monseigneur Blaise Morand, starting August 26, 2026. This full-time role is ideal for engaging with students while managing library resources.

This temporary position places emphasis on cataloguing and student support in alignment with Catholic education principles. Proficiency in library software and teamwork skills are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Catalog library materials and manage inventory

• Assist students and staff with resource inquiries

• Maintain circulation of library materials

• Collaborate with teachers for resource acquisition

• Oversee student activities in the library

Requirements:

• Must have a Grade 12 diploma

• Library Technician diploma is an asset

• Relevant educational experience is preferred

• Strong computer skills necessary

• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
