Position: Counsellor at Living Sky School Division
Location: North Battleford

Become a School Counsellor with Living Sky School Division in Maymont & Hafford. This part-time role focuses on supporting students' mental health and overall well-being from August 2026.

As a School Counsellor, you will work collaboratively within the Learning Services team to provide essential counselling and support services. This includes supporting emotional, behavioural, and mental health needs while engaging with families, community partners, and school teams to promote student success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer responsive counselling for students individually and in groups

• Develop supportive initiatives for student well-being

• Assist with emotional and social concerns in schools

• Collaborate with families for student support

• Participate in critical incident support if necessary

Requirements:

• Degree in Social Work or a related field

• Experience in mental health support is advantageous

• Knowledge of referral processes is a plus

• Saskatchewan driver’s licence for potential travel

• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
