Saskatchewan Program Officer

Position: Saskatchewan Program Officer Role
Become a key contributor at the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies as a Program Officer, focusing on apprenticeship initiatives within First Nations communities. This role is integral to program success and community outreach.

As a Program Officer, your responsibilities include coordinating training initiatives and providing insights into program effectiveness. You will manage the MyATC Platform for apprentices, assist with recruitment efforts, and ensure alignment with the mandates of SIIT. Collaboration with Bands, Tribal Councils, and other stakeholders will enhance the educational impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage apprenticeship training program coordination

• Support internal and external evaluations

• Collaborate with Registrar and finance departments

• Prepare reports for stakeholders as needed

• Assist instructors in academic policy adherence

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of administrative expertise

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

• Background in post-secondary education preferred

• Knowledge of First Nations cultures desirable

• Valid driver's license required for travel

Drive successful training initiatives and support apprentices at SIIT as a dedicated Program Officer.
