Shape the minds of students as an Out-of-Scope Sessional Lecturer at Beardy’s and Okemasis Cree Nation. Teach INDG 210.3, focusing on Indigenous Ways of Knowing this fall.

The University of Saskatchewan invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer position in the Department of Indigenous Studies, starting September 2026. Candidates should demonstrate expertise in Indigenous knowledge and teaching experience, especially in community contexts. This role nurtures understanding and respect for Indigenous cultures among up to 35 students through interactive lectures held every other Tuesday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach and engage students in Indigenous Ways of Knowing

• Use community resources to enhance lectures

Requirements:

• Advanced degree in Indigenous Studies or similar
