As a Student Library Worker, you will collaborate with Librarians and Library Technicians to carry out a variety of essential library tasks. The job involves shelving returns, circulating materials, and using library catalog systems such as Alma and Primo. You'll also assist patrons with photocopying, handle phone inquiries, and maintain a tidy library space.
Key Responsibilities:
• Shelve returned materials promptly
• Answer basic reference and directional queries
• Circulate materials and place holds efficiently
• Assist patrons with photocopying and printing tasks
• Process withdrawn books and tidy the library space
Requirements:
• Must be a First Nations University of Canada student
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Comfortable working independently and in a team
• Effective keyboarding and internet skills
• Familiarity with Library of Congress call numbers
