Sessional Lecturer – Mathematics and Statistics

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach the following courses during the 2026‑2027 Regular Session Term 1.

Courses
  • Mathematics 110 (27) – Calculus 1

    Term One (September to December). CRN: 80678. Delivery Mode:
    Lecture. Course

    Schedule:

    Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:30am to 10:20am. Expected Enrollment Limit: 99.

    Location:

    Saskatoon.

    Qualifications:

    Completion of a graduate degree;
    PhD preferred in Mathematics & Statistics or related discipline; possession of relevant teaching or professional experience.

  • Mathematics 125 (01) – Mathematics for the Life Sciences

    Term One (September to December). CRN: 82465. Delivery Mode:
    Lecture. Course

    Schedule:

    Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:30am to 10:20am. Expected Enrollment Limit: 300.

    Location:

    Saskatoon.

    Qualifications:

    Completion of a graduate degree;
    PhD preferred in Mathematics & Statistics or related discipline; possession of relevant teaching or professional experience.

  • Math 164 (02) – Introduction to Linear Algebra

    Term Two (January to April). CRN: 27127. Delivery Mode:
    Lecture. Course

    Schedule:

    Tuesdays & Thursdays 11:30am to 12:50pm. Expected Enrollment Limit: 150.

    Location:

    Saskatoon.

    Qualifications:

    Completion of a graduate degree;
    PhD preferred in Mathematics & Statistics or related discipline; possession of relevant teaching or professional experience.

    A valid driver‑license is required for any off‑campus courses.

Appointment Details

Appointment periods include additional days in recognition of preparation and marking time required.

Courses may be cancelled due to low enrolment.
