Responsibilities
Provide academic leadership and ensure an effective environment for students through the planning, preparation and delivery of curriculum.Define and evaluate learning outcomes; develop appropriate teaching and learning strategies; and develop or select teaching resources.Prepare and deliver instruction, assignments, and demonstrations for educational purposes.Develop and maintain agency/community relations.Develop evaluation tools, facilitate practical skill evaluations and evaluate, monitor and record student progress.Ensure an effective environment for students through the design and revision of program learning materials.Manage the learning environment and provide support to students.Participate in meetings, committee work, etc. as required.Qualifications,
Skills and AbilitiesDemonstrated competence and recent experience in the use of macOS, Windows operating systems, and Adobe Creative Cloud applications (design, video, UI & UX apps). Use of Blender, Unreal Engine or other 3D software is an asset.Demonstrated competence and recent experience in the use of the internet, email, MS Office Suite software and ability to learn and adapt to changing technology.Effective interpersonal skills.Effective oral and written communication skills.Effective instructional ability.Ability to develop curriculum.Ability to function as a team member in an ever-changing environment.Values diversity, equity and inclusion in all work practices and interactions.Posting Supplemental Questions
