Virtual Special Education Instructor

Location: North Battleford

Support diverse student needs as a Virtual Special Education Instructor, focusing on Individualized Education Programs. Engage in virtual teaching while implementing IEP goals and attending occasional in-person events.

In this role, you'll facilitate the educational progress of students with disabilities. You'll implement IEPs, maintain student records, and collaborate effectively with parents and educators. Strong communication and specialized teaching skills are crucial for creating inclusive learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) effectively

• Write and update IEPs in a timely manner

• Administer assessments and standardized tests

• Collaborate with teaching staff to improve student outcomes

• Maintain confidentiality of student information

Requirements:

• Master’s degree preferred; current State certification

• Minimum 3 years teaching experience, 2 years special education

• Knowledge of co-teaching models and MTSS process

• Proficiency in Google Docs and MS Office Suite

• Valid driver’s license for occasional travel
