Support military-connected students at Georgian College as a Military Connected Coordinator in Barrie. Engage with current and prospective students, ensuring they navigate their postsecondary journey effectively.
Located on the Barrie campus, this part-time role involves coordinating activities for military-connected individuals. As the liaison for internal and external military partners, you will help foster a community and guide students as they transition through their academic experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct outreach to military-connected students at all academic stages
• Collect and analyze student data related to military connections
• Liaise with college-wide committees representing military student needs
• Produce and develop marketing materials to support outreach efforts
• Coordinate high-profile events like Remembrance Day ceremonies
Requirements:
• Two-year postsecondary diploma or CAF training equivalent
• Minimum three years' experience in a military environment
• Knowledge of Canadian Armed Forces and Veterans Affairs
• Proven communication and organizational skills
• Competency in MS Office applications
