Hybrid Director of Fieldwork & Student Placements

This position oversees the intern and residency programs, guiding both Fieldwork Supervisors and teachers in a collaborative environment. Your key responsibility is managing student placements by maintaining accurate documentation and supporting partnerships with school districts. Your expertise will ensure a smooth process for all involved, underlining the quality of the Department of Teacher Education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage fieldwork and teaching placements for candidates

• Recruit and support mentor teachers and supervisors

• Track and process Memoranda of Understanding with districts

• Conduct candidate interviews and facilitate training

• Maintain communication and ensure compliance standards

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Education from an accredited institution

• At least three years of K-12 teaching experience

• Demonstrated mentorship experience

• Knowledge of California Credentialing regulations

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
