Graduate Teaching Assistant, Animal and Poultry Science

The Department of Animal & Poultry Science invites applications for a Teaching Assistant for the following course during the  Regular session:

Duties
In the appointment of a Teaching Assistant position, your general duties and responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Preparing, delivering, and/or attending labs and lectures; demonstrating, marking, student consultation, invigilating, holding office hours, setting up experiments, supervising field trips, and conferring with the supervisor in charge as required by the assignment.
  • You will report to the faculty supervisor of the class you are assigned to.
  • The successful candidates are required to report their hours of work through the pay and time reporting service on PAWS unless the signed contract has specified the number of hours.

    )
    Minimum of a BSc degree or equivalent in Agriculture or a related field.

    You must be a current graduate student in the Department of Animal and Poultry Science at the University of Saskatchewan and a member of the Graduate Students’ Association.
