Summary of Position

Living Sky School Division's 28 schools are located in 19 communities. Our schools include PreK-12, elementary, high schools, and alternate schools with a student population of over 5,000 students. Our diverse school population is reflected in a wide variety of programs that exist throughout the schools to meet the guidelines of the Saskatchewan Core Curriculum and local needs of the community.

This posting is for a Casual Caretaker tofill in vacancies throughout the school year on a call-in basis. Hours of work and shift length may vary based on the school of choice. Living Sky School Division Caretakers are responsible for the cleaning, sanitization and maintenance of their assigned facility to ensure a safe and healthy environment for student body, staff and visitors entering the school.

• Be able to plan, prioritize, communicate and self-manage
• Have excellent communication skills; and
• Be enthusiastic and thrive in a team environment.
• Genuinely appreciate working with children and youth.
• A Firemen’s Certificate or WHMIS would be considered an asset.
