Learning & Development Specialist Role

Join Maple Leaf Foods as a Learning & Development Specialist to champion training initiatives that drive operational excellence. Collaborate with plant functions to create a unified Standard Work program.

In this critical position, you'll assess training needs across the production floor and design tailored learning solutions.

Your role will include leading the development of training materials and implementing a robust train-the-trainer program. Partnership with functional experts will ensure content effectiveness, while your insights will help enhance training delivery and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough training needs assessments

• Design and implement learning objectives for operations

• Create and approve Standard Work Instructions

• Collaborate to update and track training metrics

• Build proficiency in Alchemy learning tools across teams

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years in operations or training roles

• Preferred CTDP certification

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

• Experience with Alchemy tools is an asset

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
