The instructor role involves guiding students through four levels of Powerline Technician Apprenticeship training. Your responsibilities include delivering safety and technical instruction, measuring student performance, and actively participating in curriculum design. Your experience will aid in building a robust learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct apprenticeship levels on technical subjects
• Teach safety practices, AC and DC principles
• Evaluate student progress with detailed record-keeping
• Develop relevant curriculum materials as a subject expert
• Demonstrate physical skills necessary for training
Requirements:
• Certified Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyperson
• 5 to 10 years of professional Powerline Technician experience
• Experience in adult education or leadership roles is desirable
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and learning management systems
