The College of Arts and Science is inviting applications for a Sessional Lecturer in Economics for the course ECON 211.3. Candidates must possess a graduate degree in economics and prior teaching experience. This is a term position designed for the fall term with potential additional days for preparation and grading.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver face-to-face lectures on Intermediate Microeconomics
• Guide and evaluate approximately 70 enrolled students
• Prepare course materials and assess student work
• Maintain a valid driver’s license for any off-campus duties
• Ensure compliance with departmental expectations and guidelines
Requirements:
• Graduate degree in economics
• Teaching experience in an economics-related field
• Understanding of course delivery in an academic setting
• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion practices
• Ability to provide a supportive learning environment
