Bright Futures Play Academy Assistant

Become part of the Bright Futures Play Academy team as a part-time Educational Assistant supporting students. Duties begin August 26, 2026, continuing throughout the 2026/2027 school year.

This role demands your experience working with students who have diverse and complex needs. You will utilize your strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster a collaborative and inclusive learning atmosphere. Your calm approach will be vital in addressing student challenges effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the academic and behavioral needs of students

• Collaborate effectively with team members

• Communicate effectively with students and their families

• Maintain a supportive and positive learning environment

• Work one-on-one with students in an inclusive setting

Requirements:

• Experience with students having severe needs

• Effective communication skills in writing and speech

• Patience and calmness in problem-solving

• Team player with a collaborative spirit

• Previous experience or training as an Educational Assistant
