Capacity Building Coordinator

Enhance prescribed fire expertise with Meewasin Valley Authority as a Capacity Building Coordinator in Saskatoon. Lead training, mentorship, and practitioner initiatives across the Prairie Provinces.

This temporary full-time role will require 3-5 years of experience and a university diploma. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including Indigenous communities and conservation organizations, to improve prescribed fire capacities. The focus is on creating accessible development pathways that connect training, mentorship, and practical learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead coordination of learning and mentorship initiatives

• Develop accessible training pathways for practitioners

• Connect formal training and experiential learning opportunities

• Provide leadership and work planning for support staff

• Ensure workplace safety protocols are upheld

Requirements:

• University diploma in a relevant field
