Reporting to Dr. Holly McKenzie, this role involves marking work, hosting online office hours, and facilitating engaging class activities. Ideal candidates should possess strong knowledge of social justice concepts and prior experience as a Teaching Assistant. Your contributions will help cultivate a rich learning atmosphere for diverse students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in grading assignments and exams
• Organize guest speakers for insightful discussions
• Manage online office hours for student support
• Conduct online group activities to foster interaction
• Support overall course engagement and delivery
Requirements:
• Must be a PhD or Master’s level graduate student
• Expertise in social justice and health equity required
• Hands-on research experience in related fields
• Prior TA experience is necessary
• Emphasis on equity and inclusion in teaching
