• Select, design, update and construct educational courses and lab aids/materials.
• Prepare and deliver lessons, assignments, lectures and demonstrations for educational purposes.
• Supervise students in classroom, clinical, labs, tours, etc. May involve travel.
• Evaluate students through the use of exams, assignments and observations and to record student progress.
• Counsel students and prospective students on matters pertaining to the program and job opportunities.

Skills and Abilities

(QSA)

• Degree or Diploma in Combined Laboratory and Xray Technology with active registration and current licensure with the applicable national and/or provincial regulatory body.
• Minimum of two years of recent, relevant experience as a Combined Laboratory and Xray Technology (CLXT) in a Canadian laboratory/imaging department, including clinical laboratory.
• Ability to effectively engage students in learning complex topics through lectures, labs, one‑on‑one support, and constructive feedback.
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
• Effective interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
• Commitment to excellence in teaching, collaboration, and inclusive education.
• Ability to function as a team member in an ever‑changing environment.
• Demonstrated competence and recent experience in MS Office Suite, educational software, and the ability to learn and adapt to changing technology.
• Demonstrates valuing diversity.
