Advance instructional excellence at SIIT through LMS administration and faculty development supporting online learning across programs and communities.
The Faculty Development and LMS Coordinator leads professional development, instructional design, and curriculum renewal. You will guide faculty in Brightspace, digital pedagogy, multimedia integration, and culturally grounded learning. The work supports learner-centered courses aligned with SIIT quality standards and Indigenous pedagogical values.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and facilitate faculty LMS and digital strategy training
- Support accessible, inclusive online course design
- Test LMS features and research online learning technologies
- Provide coaching, workshops, and user-friendly training materials
- Resolve technology issues and escalate matters when required
- Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, or related field
- Minimum three years supporting LMS platforms in post-secondary learning
- Experience with online course development and digital pedagogy
- Knowledge of accessibility, responsive design, and universal design
- Strong troubleshooting, training, and instructor support skills
