Supply Early Childhood Educator DDSB

Support full-day learning with the Durham District School Board as a Supply Early Childhood Educator in Brock, Scugog, or Uxbridge. Plan age-appropriate programs.

Under the Principal’s guidance, you will work with classroom teachers to deliver full-day learning programs. You will supervise extended day activities when needed and help create environments supporting children’s cognitive, physical, social, and emotional growth. Communication and confidentiality are essential.

• Plan and deliver full-day learning programs with teachers
• Supervise age-appropriate extended day activities as needed
• Support children’s cognitive, physical, social, and emotional growth
• Assist with washroom, dressing, toileting, and lunchtime routines
• Follow school policies, procedures, directions, and deadlines

• Two-year community college Early Childhood Education Diploma
• Registration with the College of Early Childhood Educators
• Childcare experience in an educational setting preferred
• Basic computer, organization, and time management skills
• Current vulnerable sector Criminal Background Check upon hire
