What You'll Do
Working with the Mine Training Coordinator, develop, design, and deliver training programs
Evaluate departmental training programs, gathering data pertaining to training material and offering recommendations
Coordinate training with departments
Monitor employee performance and training results
Maintain appropriate training records for all employees
What You'll Bring
Superior interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills
Experience in the operation of mobile equipment
Ability to present existing and new training materials to employees in both a classroom and on-the-job setting
Computer skills are required, including the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
Ability to demonstrate positive safety behaviours and safety leadership through working safely and effectively in a team setting as well as independently
Willingness to learn and gain adequate knowledge and experience through training
Grade 12 diploma or equivalent, with a technical or operating background
Knowledge of underground mine operations and maintenance techniques
Knowledge of OH&S regulations as well as mine regulations
Previous experience in a supervisory role would be considered an asset
Experience using LMS would be considered an asset
