What You'll Do:

  • Provide electrical technical support to the Mine Maintenance Department.
  • Assist with maintenance planning related to VFD, PLC and networking equipment.
  • Assist underground maintenance to identify and resolve electrical problems.
  • Ensure continuity of operations and safety on all projects.
  • Work closely with Maintenance, Engineering and Operations Departments to develop and advance maintenance workflow activities.
  • What You'll Bring:

  • Engineering Technology diploma, Journeyperson certificate, or diploma in a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience operating in a plant engineering or maintenance environment.
  • Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) experience is an asset.
  • Familiarity with the Construction Codes and Practices in common usage.
  • Safety Commitment.
  • Ability to handle a large and varied workload.
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning & problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and experience with EAM software systems.
