PINTER & Associates Ltd. is seeking a Junior Municipal Engineer to join our Saskatoon office. PINTER is an established Saskatchewan-based consulting engineering firm providing municipal, environmental, geotechnical, and waste management engineering services to public, industrial, government, and Indigenous clients across Western Canada. Locally owned and operated, with offices in Saskatoon and Regina, our diverse team of skilled professionals supports clients locally and throughout Western Canada.
The successful candidate will assist clients and project teams with practical and economical civil infrastructure solutions, including concept plans, preliminary designs, site plans, civil engineering works, infrastructure rehabilitation and retrofit projects, evaluation of alternatives, cost estimates, permit applications, design drawings, detailed designs, specifications, tender documents, contract documents, surveying, quantity estimation, construction inspection, and contract administration.
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related engineering discipline from an accredited institution. Current Engineer-in-Training registration in Canada, or the ability to obtain APEGS registration within one year, is required. Candidates should have 1–3 years of relevant experience, strong technical aptitude, Microsoft Office skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Organization, attention to detail, initiative, flexibility, problem-solving ability, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are important.

Exposure to water/wastewater, roads, land development, asset management, stormwater management, construction inspection, surveying, field assessments, AutoCAD/Civil 3D, GIS, regulations, standards, and guidelines will be considered an asset.
