Geology Intern/Coop Student

Key Responsibilities Provide field level support: core logging, sampling, mapping, and sample processing.
Monitor surface drilling operations for safety, environmental, and program execution adherence.
Perform data entry in the office under the direction of a Resource Development Geologist.
Assist underground Resource Development Geologists with beat, face sampling, back‑mapping, and core logging.
Offer support to Technical Services groups (survey, ventilation, mine planning, rock mechanics) as needed.
Qualifications Enrolled in a Geology or Mine/Geological Engineering degree or diploma program.
Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and organizational skills.
Ability to work in fast‑paced, changing environments and in outdoor, underground, and office settings.
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with surface exploration or underground mining and familiarity with Leapfrog, MX Database, or similar geological software is an asset.
Working Conditions
Schedule:
2 weeks on, 2 weeks off in a remote camp; fly‑in/fly‑out required. Work primarily in core shack/outdoor settings, with some office and underground time.
