You will support Barr's engineering team in developing detailed electrical power and control system designs. Utilizing AutoCAD and other CADD software, you will create essential documentation that guides project execution.
Your role will also involve site visits to ensure client needs are met effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create comprehensive electrical drawings using AutoCAD
• Design and improve electrical distribution systems below 600V
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet project goals
• Visit client sites for field assessments
• Establish strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders
Requirements:
• Two-year technical certificate or similar training
• 5+ years of relevant experience in electrical design
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and current AutoCAD
• Possession of a valid driver’s license
• Legally authorized to work in Canada
