Join BBA and put your experience to work by taking an active role in all project stages as a design engineer (CEP) in controls. You’ll help design control and protection systems for high‑voltage substations and hydroelectric power plants in Canada. You’ll also take part in onsite work to ensure work quality and system compliance before energization. You’ll play a key role in managing projects, coordinating with clients and delivering quality projects with the BBA team.

• Take on various roles, including project leader
• Design protection panels (AC, control, wiring diagrams, etc.)
• Draft installation specifications and prepare material, cable and interconnection lists
• Participate in site surveys
• Coordinate mandates with other discipline leads
• Participate in automation start‑up activities

• University degree in electrical engineering
• Available for short‑ and long‑term work assignments at client sites
• Advanced English skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in English‑speaking Canadian provinces and internationally; you may need to use English occasionally or daily, depending on current projects
• Advanced French skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in Québec
• Asset: a diploma from the Institut en génie de l’énergie électrique (IGEE)
• Asset: experience in protection and control projects at Hydro‑Québec
• Asset: knowledge of E3 design software
• Asset: knowledge of protection‑relay test equipment and onsite monitoring
