What is the Opportunity?

The joint venture between Atkins Realis and Aecon has been awarded an Extended Services Master Services Agreement (ESMSA) with Ontario Power Generation (OPG) for projects at both the Pickering & Darlington Nuclear Generating Stations.

The Assessor is a highly motivated self‑starter who will assist in various areas of the ESMSA projects related to technical and planning deliverables heavily using OPG’s Asset Suite 9 program depending on project requirements.

What You’ll Do Here:
  • Navigate OPG Asset Suite 9
  • Plan operating and shutdown work orders, work requests and maintenance work in Asset Suite 9
  • Produce detailed work plans and instructions
  • Assemble data for work activities
  • Prepare reports and history records in Asset Suite 9
  • Order material in Asset Suite 9
  • Perform constructability reviews
  • Evaluate the work environment to determine which support programs are required
  • Attend internal and external meetings
  • Provide guidance/input regarding work planning, execution and commissioning strategies.
What You Bring to the Team:
  • A minimum of 5 years working a Nuclear Generation Station as a Mechanical Foreman (or equivalent)
  • Extensive knowledge of Asset Suite 9
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to meet the challenges of this dynamic role
  • Ability to work with different work groups (Project Management, Construction and OPG)
  • Assessors must understand and be familiar with the nuclear plant equipment and nuclear procedures and policies.
  • Holds a mechanical certification (or equivalent)
  • Travel to various work locations in both field and office
  • Walkdown of project sites and systems outside and inside of station are required to support workorder assessments

Pay Range: $120,000 - $145,000

Individual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions. Other considerations may include certifications, specialized training, and the complexity or scope of the role.
