In this permanent position, you will work a 36-hour week, Monday to Friday.
Your role will encompass responding to equipment failures in diverse clinical settings, including A&E and outpatient clinics. You will receive comprehensive training on low-risk medical devices, developing your skills in commissioning, calibration, and repair.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to equipment failures in clinical areas
• Commission new medical equipment and devices
• Perform planned maintenance on non-complex devices
• Calibrate and assure functional accuracy of equipment
• Support safe diagnosis through equipment preparedness
Requirements:
• Engineering or Technology knowledge to SCQF Level 8
• Understanding of electrical and electronic principles
• Experience in fault-finding and electronic system repairs
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Competence in low-risk medical device training
