The Electrical Engineer position involves designing electrical systems for capital projects in mining and heavy industries. Candidates will lead project scopes, perform electrical designs, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. The role requires strong teamwork with multidisciplinary professionals and emphasizes sound engineering judgment in various responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform electrical design for different voltage systems
• Develop and review Scopes of Work for electrical projects
• Conduct power system studies using ETAP methodologies
• Prepare engineering deliverables and specifications
• Provide support during construction and commissioning
Requirements:
• 4–9 years of mining or heavy infrastructure experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and ETAP modeling
• Solid knowledge of electrical codes and standards
• Strong communication skills for team collaboration
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required
