In partnership with Brunel, Hatch is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join their Project Delivery Group. This role emphasizes collaboration on innovative projects involving underground mining structures. You will carry out structural analyses, prepare specifications, and manage junior engineers while ensuring safety and compliance throughout each project phase.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage project requirements on scope, cost, and safety
• Prepare engineering calculations and technical specifications
• Participate in design reviews and document stamping
• Oversee work completed by junior engineers and draft proposals
• Compiling monthly engineering status reports
Requirements:
• Degree in civil/structural engineering, with professional registration
• 7+ years of experience in underground mining projects
• Proficiency in Staad Pro and familiarity with Mathcad
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Knowledge of engineering management systems
