As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will oversee geotechnical aspects including earthworks and solution ponds. You will develop geotechnical models, conduct stability analyses, and apply engineering judgment to address cold-climate challenges. Supporting compliance with legislation, you will also engage with regulators and contribute to comprehensive technical reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead geotechnical engineering for solution ponds and embankments

• Develop design criteria and perform stability analyses

• Ensure practical and cost-effective designs for operations

• Participate in site inspections and support Quality Management programs

• Oversee monitoring programs for geotechnical safety

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering

• 10+ years of geotechnical engineering experience

• Eligibility for Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Yukon

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Knowledge of Indigenous customs is a plus
