Lead innovative renewable projects with Extropic Energy as a Renewable Energy Engineer in Saskatoon, SK. Focus on design, technical coordination, and delivery of solar PV and battery storage systems. As part of Extropic Energy, you will oversee engineering designs for solar PV, BESS, and microgrids, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance.
Your expertise as an Engineer of Record will guide project development from concept to commissioning, while coordinating with various stakeholders. This is a full time position based in Saskatoon, designed for experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Act as Engineer of Record for technical deliverables
- Lead electrical design for solar PV and BESS systems
- Develop engineering packages for microgrid projects
- Coordinate with stakeholders for approvals and reviews
- Perform power system studies and integrate findings
- P.Eng. with APEGS registration or eligibility
- 6+ years in electrical engineering
- Proficiency in solar PV and BESS design
- Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code
- Must work from Saskatoon on-reserve office
