Location: Warman
Enhance mining operations as a Long-Term Planning Engineer. This role emphasizes sustainable development and requires strong leadership in producing life-of-mine forecasts while working a 14/14 rotation.
As you report to the Chief Mine Engineer, your responsibilities will include developing long-term mine plans and collaborating with geology and metallurgy to achieve production targets. You will lead efforts in strategic planning and continuously improve processes through analysis and scenario assessments. Additionally, mentoring engineering staff will be essential for fostering a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and maintain strong safety culture on-site
• Analyze strategic scenarios for operational planning
• Develop life-of-mine forecasts and production plans
• Collaborate on resource conversion with geology
• Implement engineering best practices for safety
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mine Engineering
• 7+ years experience in underground mining
• Registered or eligible for registration as P.Eng
• Proficiency in Deswik and Microsoft tools
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
