Join SSR Mining as a Temporary Scoop Operator in our remote northern Saskatchewan camp. Your focus will be on the safe transport of ore and waste, operating various mining vehicles.
In this role, reporting to the Supervisor of Mine Operations, you will manage the movement of materials crucial for production and development. Candidates should have at least two years of experience in hard-rock underground mining, be well-versed in safety practices, and have a positive approach to communication and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate 30- and 40-ton trucks effectively
• Manage 2, 4, 6, and 8-yard scoops
• Follow scaling procedures with precision
• Adhere to underground emergency protocols
Requirements:
• Two years of hard-rock mining experience required
• Mine haulage truck experience preferred
• Skills in operating scoop trams advantageous
• Mine rescue training considered beneficial
