Role Overview

We are seeking a Project Controller to support multi-disciplinary teams in planning, monitoring, and controlling projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. The role provides critical oversight of project staff, contractors, and vendors while maintaining compliance with operational, health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed project plans including scope, schedule, and budget
  • Review and approve engineering designs to ensure alignment with project specifications
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, contractors, and vendors to ensure efficient project execution
  • Monitor project progress, quality of work, and materials used to maintain standards
  • Prepare reports, forecasts, and project documentation for management
  • Manage and allocate project resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment
  • Conduct ongoing risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks
  • Evaluate completed projects and capture lessons learned to improve future initiatives

This is a dynamic, on-site role in a mining environment. Daily commute to and from the site is expected.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in project control, coordination, or management in industrial, construction, or mining environments.
  • Strong understanding of project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Knowledge of engineering design processes and construction/project standards.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong Experience with Microsoft Excel.
