Join Fastbreak AI as an Optimization Performance Specialist, where you'll lead benchmarking in our innovative sports scheduling platform. Partner with major sports leagues while solving complex scheduling challenges in this hybrid or remote role.
This role seeks an experienced Optimization Performance Specialist to enhance our AI and ML optimization methodologies. You’ll utilize your computer science and mathematics background to develop performance benchmarks and maintain benchmarking frameworks. Collaboration with research, product, and infrastructure teams is essential to ensure our algorithms achieve optimal speed, accuracy, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design benchmarking pipelines for proprietary algorithmic approaches
• Develop tools for parameter tuning and regression detection
• Analyze algorithmic performance to identify bottlenecks
• Generate benchmark reports to guide engineering improvements
• Integrate benchmark testing into CI/CD pipelines
Requirements:
• MS or PhD in Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field
• 3+ years in software engineering or data analysis
• Proficiency in Python and scripting languages
• Strong background in performance measurement
• Familiarity with distributed workloads on AWS or Azure
