Location: Martensville
SRK Consulting seeks an Intermediate to Senior Hydrogeochemist across various Canadian locations or remotely. The focus is on water quality assessments, modeling expertise, and stakeholder engagement.
This role involves collaborating with SRK’s geochemistry specialists to support clients throughout the mining lifecycle. You will design hydrogeochemical studies, predict water quality impacts, and communicate findings through technical reports and presentations. Your knowledge in contaminant interactions will contribute to responsible mining outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead hydrogeochemical characterization initiatives
• Create hydrogeochemical conceptual site models
• Perform water quality predictions with modeling software
• Supervise laboratory and field testing programs
• Conduct thorough data interpretation and analysis
Requirements:
• Degree in geochemistry or related discipline
• Over five years of postgraduate experience
• Current registration as a Geoscientist or Engineer
• Proficiency in geochemical modeling tools
• Strong analytical and communication skills
