Experienced Civil Field Engineer

Contribute to impactful projects at JDS Energy & Mining as an Experienced Civil Field Engineer with a focus on concrete construction and QA compliance.

This role offers a unique mix of field engineering and project oversight.

In this fly-in/fly-out Civil Field Engineer position, you will be instrumental in concrete-related activities, including batching operations, quality assurance inspections, and the documentation process. Your ability to work collaboratively with contractor and engineering teams will enhance the effectiveness of concrete execution and resolve issues proactively. Accurate records and communication are essential for successful project turnover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate day-to-day operations for concrete tasks

• Ensure compliance with specifications and safety codes

• Conduct quality inspections for batching and curing processes

• Maintain detailed inspection and progress documentation

• Support contractors in concrete scope issues

Requirements:

• Significant experience in civil field engineering

• Knowledgeable in safety practices for concrete work

• Availability for a 2x2 FIFO work rotation

• Proficient in QA/QC inspection techniques

• Strong team collaboration and communication skills
