You’ll play a crucial role in Qualus’ Protection & Control team, acting as a Subject Matter Expert on complex projects and ensuring adherence to best practices in protection and control. This position focuses on reviewing technical deliverables, conducting risk assessments, and engaging with clients to deliver innovative solutions across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as Principal Engineer on high-risk projects
• Provide technical guidance on protection standards
• Review protection documents and design diagrams
• Oversee relay settings for utility systems
• Mentor junior engineers in engineering practices
Requirements:
• 20+ years of relevant engineering experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Professional Engineer registration in Canada
• Strong expertise in substation protection
• Experience with high-voltage transmission systems
