Become a pivotal part of Blackline Safety’s mission as a Hardware Engineer. Design innovative gas detection and safety devices while collaborating with diverse engineering teams.
As a Hardware Engineer, you will focus on designing, testing, and optimizing hardware components for connected safety devices. This role demands strong electrical engineering knowledge and hands-on experience with multi-layer boards, while working in a collaborative environment with mechanical and firmware engineers. You will contribute to high-quality device production in a dynamic engineering culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and verify printed circuit boards (PCBs) and system-level solutions
• Collaborate with teams to define system requirements
• Diagnose and resolve electrical-related issues
• Provide status updates to product leads
• Travel within Canada and internationally as required
Requirements:
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience with high-volume electronic products
• Strong fundamentals in prototyping and debugging
• Experience with Altium Designer for schematic layout
• Proficiency in communication and problem-solving skills
