Hatch is searching for an Intermediate Mechanical Designer within their Project Delivery Group, focusing on innovative engineering solutions. In this position, you will apply advanced engineering principles to create mechanical drawings and layouts, ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Being part of a diverse team means working collaboratively on projects that drive positive change in mining and energy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in interpreting plant PFDs and P&IDs

• Prepare 3D modeling and design for mechanical plants

• Check drawings and ensure quality before release

• Provide material quantity take-offs for estimating

• Collaborate with engineering teams for design concepts

Requirements:

• Technology Diploma, mechanical preferred

• Experienced in 2D CAD systems like AutoCAD and Microstation

• Ability to design and model in 3D environments

• Good teamwork and communication skills

• Familiarity with safety protocols in design
