Drive engineering excellence as the Head of Technical for BHP’s Jansen Project, located in Saskatchewan. This influential role encompasses leadership across multiple project functions.
As the Head of Technical, you will oversee the critical aspects of Engineering, Operational Technology, and Technology functions to ensure a successful project delivery for Jansen Stage
2. Your leadership will establish engineering governance and promote a culture of quality and compliance throughout the project lifecycle, from design to operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage engineering delivery and operational technology for Jansen
• Develop and enforce best practice engineering frameworks
• Monitor EPCM provider compliance and performance outcomes
• Drive strategies for technical quality management
• Lead efforts to assess and fill technical capability gaps
Requirements:
• A degree in Engineering with proven large project experience
• Comprehensive background in engineering and project management
• Effective in strategic planning and risk management
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement
• Familiarity with underground mining technologies
